Everything about this festival has been amazing so far. Can I gush? SERIOUSLY. LET ME GUSH about why I am wallowing in a haze of awesome glob pie now...
-the warm Cinequest staff that made us feel like rockstars
-Derek and Darnesha, our volunteer PR assistants who pimped us out and got our film into the blogosphere.
Get these SJSU kids jobs after they graduate! They're good!-going to see Dear Zachary . Oh my goodness. Wow. Go see it.
-Seeing a theater PACKED full of people who placed their $10, time and trust on an unknown film and two unknown directors....wow!!!!! THAT was one of the top five highs of my life! (natural highs, people, natural highs!)
You guys are great! Thanks for coming!-This was the first time I ever saw a film I made get projected in front of a public audience...I'll never get a first experience again, so that was pretty eventful.
-Hosting a Q&A session with an audience of intelligent and supportive people.
Seriously, I am more motivated to make films than ever now. Thank you Cinequest.

WOW!!! Congratulations! If I'd known about this I would have sent my good vibes ahead of time. Do they count during the process? I'm so happy/proud/excited for/of you. What an accomplishment. I can't wait to see the film sometime soon!
