I'm so psyched to say that Schmap has chosen my photo to represent the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles!

I love it when Web 2.0 collides in yummy ways. Schmap, which is best described as if Google Maps and Lonely Planet mated, is a free online digital travel guide that uses photos found on Flickr (used with the photog's permission) to illustrate tourist spots. It's a handy dandy tool which I've used before, and I encourage you guys to check it out for your own turfs.
I took this photo during Giant Robot's Biennale Art Show at the museum. The painting is done by the talented artist Souther Salazar. I have a deep fondness of taking pictures of people looking at paintings, especially kids.
